Who Are We?

When we look at the studies on violence against women and gender inequality in administration, it is clearly seen that women are helpless against all kinds of violence and exposed to gender inequality in every field. Being aware of this situation, our founding members, who came together in a conference at Spisska Nova Ves, established our association in 2022. Although our association is newly established, it has members from many different professions and continues to work actively for the improvement of women's rights and women's place in society, growing day by day.

As it is known, in countries with high welfare levels and developed education systems, women participate in economic, political and social life on an equal basis with men, take an active role, and accordingly, violence against women is noticeably reduced. In this context, as a result of the situation in which the world's countries include women in all areas of life, the welfare levels of the countries will increase, the balance between men and women in education systems and social life will be ensured, and accordingly, violence against women will decrease. It should not be forgotten that the participation of women in social life, working life, and management life is not only an individual gain but also creates a cycle that will ensure social development in countries. The activities we carry out within the scope of these facts are as follows:

Our members recently conducted a survey on social media on violence against women and the place of women in government, especially with the participation of university students. Our members, who came together to evaluate the results of the survey, made comments by developing different perspectives on the phenomenon of violence against women in every field and, accordingly, why women are less involved in management life than men, and what work should be done to improve this situation. These comments have been very guiding for us to determine the working area, mission, and vision of our association.
