We participated in the youth exchange project Touch Humans, Not Screen with reference number 2022-3-TR01-KA152-YOU-000096010. The project, which we realized between 21.10.2023-28.10.2023, lasted 7 days in total. A total of 5 countries, including us, participated in the project and 30 participants took part in the project. Gender equality was given importance in the project, which was organized with 6 people from each country.
The subject of the project is: With the introduction of technology into our lives, accessing, sharing and producing new information has become an ordinary part of our daily lives. Technology addiction is a type of addiction that occurs due to excessive and uncontrolled use of digital devices such as phones, computers, smart devices, game consoles, tablets and similar digital devices. We can say that it is harmful to the soul, just like smoking addiction or alcohol addiction. According to researchers, technology addiction can be seen in 1 out of every 8 people.
Technology addiction has become visible at almost every age. Therefore, internet addiction has become a dangerous situation not only in our country but all over the world. For this reason, with our project, we aim to raise awareness of individuals on this issue and to show the negative effects that can be created in our lives as a result of the use of seemingly innocent technological tools in the wrong dose.
