About us
Our association was established in 2022 in Spisska Nova Ves with the aim of advocating for women's rights and promoting gender equality. Our organization, which seeks to raise awareness on gender inequality in governance and violence against women, continues to grow with members from various professional backgrounds and actively carries out its initiatives.

The main objective of our association is to ensure that women have equal opportunities in all areas of society, to combat violence against women, and to enhance women's participation in economic, social, and political life. In line with these objectives, our priorities include facilitating women's access to justice, improving laws and policies related to women's rights, raising public awareness, encouraging women's inclusion in decision-making mechanisms, and conducting social responsibility projects.

As part of our research and advocacy efforts, our association has conducted social media surveys on violence against women and women's roles in governance. By analyzing the results, we have defined our areas of focus and strategic direction. Additionally, we organize seminars, training sessions, and awareness campaigns on women's rights, gender equality, and the prevention of violence against women.

Our association members have also gained experience in Erasmus Plus projects, participating in youth programs and gender equality initiatives in countries such as Turkey, Czechia, Portugal, and Latvia. Through these projects, our members have built international collaborations, gained experience in organizing awareness-raising events on women's rights, and developed skills in engaging with diverse communities.

The key personnel of our association include experts specializing in gender studies, law, education, and social sciences.

Our association aims to implement its own Erasmus Plus projects, transferring the knowledge and experience gained to new initiatives and reaching broader audiences. In line with our vision of creating a world where women have equal rights and live free from violence, we seek the support of individuals and institutions, believing that together, we can build a fairer society.

Mission
Our mission is to advocate for women's rights, combat gender-based discrimination and violence, and promote gender equality at local, national, and international levels. We are committed to strengthening women’s roles in society by supporting their access to justice, ensuring equal opportunities in education and employment, and empowering them to participate in leadership and governance.

To achieve these goals, we engage in research, advocacy, and capacity-building activities. We work on improving legal frameworks that protect women's rights, ensuring their implementation, and raising awareness among policymakers, institutions, and the general public. Our association actively organizes training sessions, awareness campaigns, and seminars that educate individuals about gender equality and the prevention of violence against women.

Additionally, we focus on supporting women through social and economic empowerment programs. By facilitating their participation in various fields, including business, politics, and academia, we aim to help women achieve financial independence and self-sufficiency. Our association also works closely with other organizations, universities, and civil society groups to strengthen networks of support and collaboration.

As part of our commitment to international engagement, we encourage participation in Erasmus Plus programs and similar initiatives that promote knowledge exchange and intercultural dialogue on women's rights. Our members have participated in international projects and gained valuable experience in organizing gender equality-focused activities. By implementing our own Erasmus Plus projects in the future, we seek to further expand our impact and contribute to the global movement for women's empowerment.

Ultimately, our mission is to create a society where women are not only protected from discrimination and violence but also have the power to shape their own futures, participate in decision-making processes, and inspire future generations. We believe that by working together with individuals, institutions, and communities, we can achieve meaningful and lasting change in the fight for gender equality.
Vision
Our vision is to create a world where women have equal rights and opportunities in every aspect of life, free from discrimination and violence. We strive to ensure that women actively participate in economic, social, cultural, and political life on an equal footing with men. By raising awareness and advocating for gender equality, we aim to build a society where women’s contributions are fully recognized and valued.

We believe that the inclusion of women in all spheres of life not only benefits individuals but also strengthens societies by fostering development, democracy, and social justice. Our association envisions a future where gender-based violence is eliminated, where women have full access to education and employment, and where they hold leadership positions in decision-making bodies. Through national and international collaborations, we seek to contribute to this transformation by influencing policies, supporting grassroots movements, and empowering women to become active agents of change.
